One of my buddies is always talking about your blog at work – finally came and checked it out today, nice work! I’m subscribing to your rss feed – keep on posting!
Thanks! Whoever your buddy is, tell him/her to leave a comment and say hello. The more, the merrier!
So is it this blog or the fracas blog, they told you about? Each has its own ‘flavor’.
I took the time to watch that video completely through, Fracas. I figured after the first 40 seconds, it’d amount to the same thing.
The mannerisms of the kid, cripes.
I kid you not…I swore this had to be an Asian version of miniMe or some smart editting work, but it’s not.
I’d like to see if someone could do an interpretation from Chinese to English to see what was being said…by both the kid and the fracups in the video.
Humor is one thing, and honestly…if this was faked, it’d be funnier than hell and ‘would’ get an award.
But it’s real. It’s not funny. And it’s scarier than hell what kind of life that toddler’s living with those dickwads.
That is so, so very sad. It’s funny, I just barely today made a reference to the melamine thing in the formula on my blog, but you know they found it here too. So I’m not sure about the country of China being particularly at fault – sometime I think it’s just us humans that are idiots.
John – In looking for the video, I came across more cases where Chinese children were taunted to ”play’ or ‘pretend’ smoke and the adults were laughing. It’s similar to when we’re all outraged at a video where some idiot teenager is high and has gotten a toddler to smoke or toke. Difference being, here when it happens it’s almost always some dumbass teen (with no salvageable brain cells left from their own drug use) at fault and there it seems to be adults who just don’t seem to know better.
Jill/Twipply Skwood – More background… I do a think at fracas, where I write open letters to countries. I wrote two letters to Mexico… kinda funny actually, about watering with sewage. However… it’s commomly known that regulations for any kind of industry in China are almost non-existent, and for that… I do think it’s fair to blast a country as a whole. Their lack of regulations don’t just kill and make sick, people over here (tainted pet food, tainted candy and other food products) they make sick and kill their own people. I find that atrocious. I think their government has a responsibility to d more to educate their people about health. We all know that governments operating outside of the democratic way, usually place their own interests above the health and welfare of their people.
Anyway, it seemed that since I already had a record of writing these open letters to countries, that this was another time it should be an open letter.
Hope that helps. You should go read the first letter to Mexico. It’s kind of funny.
