Fortunes
Fortunes – An Ongoing Conference About Making Money Online
So You Want To Earn Money
Many of us would like to earn a bit online. Some are happy with a bit of extra pocket money while others hope to earn enough to leave another job behind. If you fit anywhere in that range, welcome… you’re part of a growing flock of people!
Stumbling Blocks
The problem for us though, is when we look for information about the best programs to do so, the worst companies and such… we’re often met with nothing more helpful than posts about someone else’s income desiring scheme or posts singing the praises of a program they hope will be the answer for them, rather than some good solid information the rest of us can use to decide where to start… or where to go from where we are.
Online, nearly everyone labels themselves an ‘expert’ and that leaves people like us not really knowing what to believe. I see no reason that each of us must slog it out on our own and learn by hard knocks, who and what are offering the best real chances at earning money out there. We have power, by sharing the truth with each other.
And so we shall!
Consider this then, the conference room where we can all talk freely about what has worked (or didn’t work) for us and share news about what’s out there to choose from.
Active Participation Options
- Write an honest review of a program or service you’ve experienced and email it to fracas. It will be posted as a daily post at the fraccers blog, and linked to again in the fraccers review directory. The byline will be yours. If you would like it linked back to your blog, a reciprocal link to fraccers is necessary.
- Participate in the comments, carry on conversations and share information with others who are, like you, trying to earn a few dollars online. Help each other.
- Write about this conference to help bring more contributors here. It is by sharing our information that we will all be able to make better, more productive and more lucrative choices about where and how we try earn money online. What we all need is real information rather than another sales pitch.

Conversation Starters
- Choose from one of the following (or post your own idea, suggestion or question) and keep the conversation going!
- What affiliate marketing programs have you tried and what was your result?
- What paid blogging programs or services have you tried and what was your result?
- Have you ever had such a bad experience you want to save everyone from going through the same thing?
- Do you currently earn money online?
- Are you earning money online with one source or many?
- What has been your most profitable source of income online so far?
- Do you have tips for others?
- Do you have specific questions for others?
So jump in now. The conference room is open, but please know that if you plan to spam the comments with affiliate links to try make money off the people who are here honestly trying to have a conversation and help each other, I will block you from posting here. The intention of this, is honest conversation where people try help each other rather than scam each other.
Thank you for your cooperation and participation!

I’ll go first, but first-first… thanks for taking part.
1. I’d like to know if others have found that paid blogging sites will reject your blog’s application if you have google ads on the blog? Many (like PayU2Blog) don’t really say if that’s a factor… and when they reject you, don’t tell you why. Does anyone have the answer to this?
2. Have you tried more than one pay to post type program… and if so, what were your experiences?
One thing I’ve noticed is PU2B has a closed forum for their members only. Rather than this be discussed openly, I’d recommend installing a Simple Forum WP Plugin, and taking this to a Members Only discussion.
Been with PU2B a long time. Talked to someone there one time. Problem is they never dealt with the ‘front end’ enough to have decent FAQ. The Forum Moderator seems to be Teachers Pet, and she’s got a clicque that includes a former FMB content writer…who likes to use the F word constantly in Twitter.
PU2B’s image outside is nice. Their image internally includes gangbangers thinking they’re in control. Two years and it hasn’t changed.
They also creep me out and I think they should be in anger management control.
They do make me feel good about having a healthy sex life though.
I know it would be nice to know what their criteria really are, so that bloggers who get turned down know what they have to fix before trying again. It’s the decent thing to do. How awful is it to not tell what will get you declined… and then just decline people? I’ve heard this complaint from a number of bloggers… it would be nice to finally learn what the answer is.
